FreakNation by: Kate Stevens. This book is awesome!, it explores pop culture and how people classify themselves as far as what they like and dislike from food to movies to music. Freaknation is an all encompassing guide to the many different types of people in America.
Also, check out Metric's Emily Haines's father Paul Haines's book called Secret Carnival Workers. This book is a collection of poems and short stories.
